Your Red Nose Day donation could send you
to Africa!

Help us raise money for Comic Relief and you could be going to Africa to help in vital volunteer work.

Could you live on 30p a day? Malawi, one of the poorest countries of all in Africa, has over 50% living below the poverty line, with an average daily income of just 30p per person. We are working with schools and communities to bring some hope to the lives of young children.

For every donation of 5 pounds or more you will have a chance to win the grand prize of a 2 or 4 week volunteer trip to Africa. So the more times you donate, the more chance you have of winning.

Click the button below. This links to the Comic Relief site where you can donate securely online through our Real Gap page. Once on this page simply click on 'Sponsor me' and donate online.

Then email us at rednoseday@gapyearforgrownups.co.uk with the answer to this question:

What is the average daily income in Malawi?

a) 50p per person
b) 30p per person
c) 1 pound per person

Send the answer by email along with your name, telephone number and email address so that we can contact you if you are the lucky winner (proof of donation required). We will draw the winner at random on 26th March 2006. The deadline for entries is midnight on 23rd March.

Volunteer to help children in Malawi

As a volunteer you will bring your skills and enthusiasm to teach and play with children of all ages. You do not need any experience and you do not need to be a teacher. What you do need is a desire to help. Just being there and showing that you care brings a huge smile to the children's faces.
